Season 3, the noisiest wave. Same two plush and four surprises, but the surprises got much more interesting.
Season three is where the line hit its stride. The surprise formula had settled, the scented plush animals were better stitched than the first run, and the welcome card finally named the rarity tiers instead of leaving you guessing. If someone tells you their pops smelled stronger than yours, there is a decent chance they had this season.
What makes it worth hunting is the cast. Three seasons in, the little characters had stopped being generic cute shapes and turned into a proper roster — a friend you could recognise across a room. Girls traded the duplicates at school and kept the rare ones sealed. It is a super clean pack to play with and an easy one to display, which is why so few survive unopened and why the magic of a sealed shell still carries a premium.
The four surprise items stopped being stickers and clips. Temporary tattoos, charms, sticky notes and gel pens went into the rotation, which means two packs from this season opened side by side almost never hold the same things. It is the season most people picture when they remember the brand.
Rare, ultra rare and super set characters all appear in this wave. Nothing on the outside of the tube tells you which tier is inside — the dome has to come off first.
