Pikmi Pops Scented Plush

Two lines that kept the scent and dropped the lollipop. Cheeki Puffs came packed with shimmer; DoughMis came shaped like donuts and hid a jelly Pikmi in the hole.

What this shelf was

The plush shelf is where the line dropped the mystery and sold the toy outright. Cheeki Puffs and Doughmis are little scented animals you can see before you buy — a friend chosen rather than drawn. For a lot of girls this was the gentler way in, with no dome to crack and no welcome card to decode, and no season to work out afterwards.

What survives best here is the smell. Years after the run closed these still carry the scent they shipped with, which is not true of every brand that tried the trick. The shells stack, the characters sit upright, and a row of them turned a bookshelf into something closer to a sweet counter. Super giftable, genuinely cute, and the cool ones to buy if you want something to play with rather than the gamble of a surprise pop. The magic is quieter on this shelf and it lasts longer.

Cheeki Puffs sit inside a small perfume shaped case and carry scented shimmer in rainbow, pink, purple or teal. The shimmer is the gimmick — you are meant to wear it, and the plush is the applicator case it travels in.

How DoughMis stack

DoughMis come in small, medium and large, and they were designed to sit on top of each other. Crack the centre of the donut and a squishy jelly Pikmi is inside. There are over forty scents and finishes in the range, including the Squish N Rise versions that give under a thumb like real dough.

Does the scent last

Yes, longer than people expect. The scent is in the fibre, so it survives storage in a sealed pack for years. Washing is what kills it — see our care note if you need to clean one.
