Pikmi Pops Collector and Holiday Packs

The short runs: a jumbo collector edition, a confetti loaded push up pop, and an egg that hatches its own exclusive plush.

What this shelf was

Short runs and big shells. The jumbo pops scaled the whole idea up — a large scented plush animal instead of a little one, a fold-out welcome card, a medal finish marking the tier. The holiday packs went the other way: small, seasonal, sold for a few weeks and then gone.

Both sit here for the same reason. Neither was made in the volume the standard pops were, so years later these are the gaps in most sets. Girls who collected through every season usually have the common characters and none of these. The surprise inside is the same ritual, but the odds are different — a super narrow cast, every friend harder to find. Cute, cool to display, and the shelf that moves fastest when stock appears. If you want one toy on the mantelpiece rather than a box to play with, the magic is concentrated right here.

Holiday and collector packs were made in one window and never repeated, which is why they are the thinnest shelf here. Each one carries a plush you cannot pull out of a standard pop.

PushMiUps

A push up pop body loaded with confetti. You shove the plush up through the tube and the confetti goes everywhere, which is either the best or the worst part depending on whose carpet it is. Series 3 scents run marshmallow, chocolate, bubblegum and blueberry.

Surprise Eggs

Fifteen egg shaped Pikmis were made for this one, including a limited edition that collectors still chase. The egg itself opens and closes, so it doubles as the case.
